For practice.

I would’ve liked to work on it a lot more, but I’m trying to restrict the time I spend on one painting. I tend to get lost trying to perfect the small details that don’t even help with the whole image...

The second weakness I’m trying to improve is painting backgrounds, so I tried to make the characters less significant and emphasise the landscape.

That structure is as original as it gets. The balance is beautiful because the work is vertical and the dragon balances out with the horse rider. The colors are wonderful especially in the sky and mountains but the blues and greens up close feel too saturated to me or maybe not detailed enough. I also feel that the bottom of that structure is perhaps too sharp, maybe it needs some fog or something because it appears too close to the foreground. The idea and balance are really amazing, nice vibrant colors. Really great work and something to be proud of.

This is one of my fave pieces among your art. The feeling in this piece is mysterious, but in a way in it's pastel-yness(XD), really calming. I adore your originality, I wish I knew how you get your ideas... XD
