The picture has something... what I even don't know how describe. A picture of a horse, which is scratching his leg - banal scene, but at the same time... amazing work! You're very conscious of distribututing colours, what makes the picture - drawed by coloured pencils - a shape of a photo. You're my hero of details, especially because I don't have enough patience for manes of horses... Connecting of cold, even unnatural colours like purple, blue and dark green with warm colours - yellow, fresh green of grass and brown brings something special into the whole effect. You was very... brave, using the color tone quite unnatural for a horse's coat, but matching perfectly, when the part of the body is in a shadow. What can I say more? Masterpiece!
Lol, took me a while to figure out it was a horse’s head – I think the tilt of the head, the obscuring mane and the blues all tripped me out psychologically. I’m still trying to figure out what kind of angle the head is on, lol. Nevertheless! It doesn’t not stop this from being a fascinating and well-drawn piece. The detail in the mane is fascinating as well as all those muscles. This is the kind of skill I hope to have in future work.
Thank you! uhh not fun exactly, trying to build a better portfolio, and it's a sort of a warm up piece for a contest I'd really like to participate in. No chances of winning anything but one can still try and hope for the best
Thank you!! To be perfectly honest, I was far from patient...the closer to finishing the work the more I tend to rush...I know you're probably wanting to gnaw my head off saying this, but it is not nearly as good as I'd like it ot be Still, I appreciate your words, you guys make me want to keep trying
